COMPANY SPOTLIGHT
CUSTOMERFIRST RENEWABLES, Gaithersburg, MD
CustomerFirst Renewables (CFR) was the first independent advisory services firm focused on growing the large-scale, U.S. renewable energy market, aiming to double renewables use by 2025. This growing company thinks big. From its Gaithersburg office, clients include large corporations, universities, the federal government and cities. After relocating from Washington, D.C. in 2014, a second expansion is already in the works.
Why Montgomery County? A great location with more space at less cost and top talent. CFR was among the first to receive funding from the MOVE program and assistance from Gaithersburg. The RIO Washingtonian Center, with great restaurants and a lake view, was a big draw. Growing renewables and adding staff are in the immediate future.
