Sodexo to Join the Dynamic Mixed-Use Development of Pike & Rose
Sodexo plans to build a 52,000 square-foot space at 915 Meeting Street, a Federal Realty Investment Trust building in the bustling Pike & Rose development. The new 276,000-square-foot trophy office building is currently under construction at the award-winning, mixed-use development in North Bethesda, Maryland. Pike & Rose was selected for its transit-oriented, LEED Gold-certified area of retail, services, dining and entertainment.
State and Local Partnership Effort to Retain Sodexo
The Maryland Department of Commerce is working on approving a $687,927 conditional loan through Advantage Maryland (MEDAAF) to help the company complete the project in the county, along with $70,000 investment from Montgomery County. The Montgomery County Economic Development Corporation (MCEDC) led retention efforts between the County Executive’s office, Montgomery County Finance and Maryland Commerce. MCEDC assisted by presenting possible incentives and coordinating with partners to lead the retention project.
