BioHealth Innovation connects market-relevant research assets to appropriate funding, management, and global markets—in order to facilitate the new development of commercially viable BioHealth products and companies. Their goal is to transform the BioHealth Capital Region into a leading entrepreneurial area.

Like many startup stories, Spotluck was launched in June 2014 with eight restaurants and a couple hundred users in Rockville, Maryland. Today, the dining platform spans major cities along the east coast. But it is their new innovation that’s taking the rideshare industry by storm.
Their newest product, the Octopus tablet, is changing the rideshare experience with passenger games and entertainment. It also offers the ability to run short ads that help drivers with FREE tablets, data and accessories, plus cash rewards. More than 80% of Octopus drivers have reported a noticeable improvement in their driving experience. And advertisers reach people on the move—putting their brand front and center with geo-targeted video ads played to a captive audience.
